Mike Di Meglio



It's not Usual to see in this blog modern bikes such as Moto GP, and coloured gear, but Mike is our local hero !
Congratulations to Mike Di Meglio, MOTO GP 125cc World Champion 2008. Mike, as a South West French rider win this 2008 hard championship on a spanish bike, a 125ccDerbi. He won the Grand Prix de France in Le Mans, first victory of a french rider since 26 years, Jean Claude Sélini has won the Grand Prix in Nogaro in 1982!!

Mike started his carreer in GP at 15, riding on a Honda during 3 years, one season in the Federation Française de Motocyclisme Team. He won his fist GP in Istambul in 2005.

2008, in the AJO Motorsport team, was the revelation:

GP of France, winner
GP of Catalunya, winner
GP of Germany winner
British Grand Prix, 2nd
GP of China, 2nd
We are so pleased to see Mike's victories, showing his capability in strong battles during this season, on dry and wet races!! Mike will start now a new stage of his carreer, in 250cc with an Aprilia, in the fabulous Aspar Team. We'll support him of course this season, and please Mike let's going on faster on the track!!
