Steve the Tritonman

A couple days ago Steve from the triton club of great britain
send us the history of this beautiful Triton.


Here is the story :
This Triton is a 1955 wideline witha 60 T110 motor to Bonnie spec and 9 stud top end. Morgo 750 barrels and pistons bored out to +30.
Running a hayward belt drive in the primaries and electronic ignition. Carbs are 32 mm Mikuni smoothbores with the foam type filters. Front brake is a Grimeca 4ls with AM4 linings so it doesnt stop until they get warm.
Tank and oil tank are from John of the Tank Shop. It was a 1 off petroltank at the tie but lots of people have them now and so was the seat i had done that was based ona AJS 7R type. It also runs a Boyer powerbox for the electrics and chronometric clocks fitted into a Commando clock pods.
The gearbox is a Triumph 4 speed close ratio.
