Yamaha YZR-M1 is an 800 cc motorcycle specifically developed by Yamaha Motor Company to compete in the 2009 MotoGP series. It was originally developed with a 990 cc engine. Yamaha YZR-M1 has been continuously developed into several iterations, primarily to improve acceleration out of slow corners.
