Nicky Hayden's New Ducati Set-Up

Struggling Ducati Marlboro's Nicky Hayden will race on a radical new machine setting on his GP9 in Catalunya GP tomorrow. Hayden has been desperate to try and find a breakthrough in this MotoGP season. The 2006 MotoGP champion will experiment a race with a completely different setting tested at Mugello last week.




While Nicky Hayden has so far struggled to adapt to the GP9, his team mate Casey Stoner has continued his top performance. The 23-year-old Aussie goes into Catalunya MotoGP race with a four-point lead over home favorite rider Jorge Lorenzo.

Ducati Marlboro’s Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden

Ducati Marlboro riders Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden served customers at a Shell filling station in Madrid last week. Stoner and Hayden were there for a special photo session marking the tenth anniversary of Shell’s technical partnership with Ducati.

Nicky Hayden Joins Ducati Marlboro Team

Nicky Hayden (known as The Kentucky Kid) would be joining the Ducati Marlboro Team to ride alongside Casey Stoner for the 2009 MotoGP season, thus ending his ten year relationship with Honda.
