TVS Motors is going to launch TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS in India very soon. People are keen to experience the new bike but, TVS kept silence till 2010. But today, it is expected that, the TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS will be available in the market very soon. It is known from various sources that TVS will charge an extra Rs. 8000 for this version of Apache 180. So, the Apache RTR 180 ABS may be priced around Rs. 80000.

The TVS Apache RTR 180 has a very nice looking body structure. The length of the bike is 2085 mm, the width is 730 mm and the height is 1100 mm. The wheelbase is 1326 mm. The dry weight of the bike is 137 kg. It has a fuel tank that can contain 16 liters of fuel. The TVS Apache RTR 180 has got a four stroke engine with a single cylinder. The displacement of the engine is 177.4 cc. The powerful engine provides a maximum speed of 125 kilometer per hour. The maximum power of the engine is 17.03 PS at 8500 rpm and the maximum torque is 15.5 Nm at 6500 rpm.

The Apache RTR 180 ABS has got another advanced safety feature called ‘Rear Wheel lift-off Protection’ (RLP). RLP saves the rear wheel from lifting up during hard brake of the bike on the road. RLP can sense the lifting off of the rear wheel from ground and instantly releases the pressure of the front brake for a fraction. It keeps the rear wheel on the ground all the time.
